Our work is threefold:
We showcase African cultural heritage, develop the artistic talent of marginalized youth and empower them to be active citizens and agents of social change in their communities. We do this through the dynamic approach of “Social Circus,” an art-based intervention method that seeks to develop marginalized youth by providing alternative education, talent development, and critical life skills. This approach incorporates artistic and creative expression, social justice and civic engagement.
Through our community projects and edutainment productions, we seek to address issues such as unemployment, social exclusion of the disabled and other marginalized groups, environment and climate change, gender discrimination and inequality, violence most notably Gender-Based Violence and lack of access to public health services (with a focus on SRHR), education and other basic social services.
